Welcome to the Helios Harmony certification courses. Our 12 Levels of Helios Certification take you step by gradual step from the first Foundation through the Intermediate Levels of Laterals and Half Steps to the Advanced Levels—Piaffe, Passage, Pirouettes, and Changes—all the way to Mastery—Airs Above the Ground and more.
The courses are grouped into an easy-to-follow series:
Courses 1 to 4 take you through the first Foundation to mastering the laterals in hand and can be achieved in 4 to 12 months, depending on how often you and your horse can work together.
Courses 5 to 9 help you and your horse put the laterals together into all the advanced movements you always dreamed of. These will take you between 12 and 24 months of joyful journeying. Most horses that are able to diagonalize (i.e., non-gaited horses) can get here.
Beyond Course 9 takes the time it takes. Not every horse will get all the way through—and not every horse has to. The important thing is to advance exactly as far as feels right for each horse-and-human combination.
If you are planning on taking all the levels, we are estimating that it will take 3–4 years to work your way through the courses. But the Foundation can be laid down in the first year and will prepare you and your horse for any discipline, ensuring maximum equine well-being along the way.
